Stacy Klingbeil

Hi Team 7 - Stacy from DFA National here to give you some feedback on your process pack!

- Great job giving a background of the disease
- Really enjoyed "meeting Caroline" but wish there a picture or more of way to get emotionally connected to her. I also didn't get the sense the team got an emotional connection with her by your use of "we interviewed her" - when you add straight process into your story it takes away from getting your audience to really care that this problem needs to be solved.
- Great insights!! But why is she limited in public spaces? Why is it difficult to see others with later stage of the disease? Why is it hard to explain the condition? These 'whys' will not only convince the audience these problems need to be solved but also help guide how you evaluate later ideas! I'm also wondering how these connect to Caroline's daily rituals since that what you interviewed her about and led to these insights but I don't know why.
- Yes!!! Love you're getting to the "WHY are patients .."
- Hmm. Is that the answer? Or is your solution going to be the answer? If you answer your question - I don't feel I need to get to your solution ...
- Besides an app - what other solutions did you consider? Why is an app better than a place that connects her or a program at the hospital? Would love to see other early ideas and why this app to connect is better.
- Great job researching other solutions and articulating where they fall short!! I feel these could also help support your "app" solution by explaining that there are other apps out there that comfort people.
- It seems your solutions wants to kind of distract them from their diagnosis? by helping them look forward to other things? Is it a bucket list? Would love to hear what feedback you get by testing this to see if this assumption/approach will actually help Caroline feel her life is the same ..
- Great app info architecture!
- Would love to see paper prototypes of app screens.
- Really great packet overall! It was very clear to understand and exciting to see!!
