Hey team! This is CC from DFA National. The UC leads asked National to give feedback to yall's Process Packs before final presentation. Let me know if you want any clarification of my feedback or have any questions. Great work so far!

Like
- Great research on existing solutions!!
- Nice short-term MOS.
- Great pictures of prototypes!

Wish
- What happened to Caroline slide? Nothing under her name :(
- Not really clear on how you focused on “preventing accidents from spilling food and drinks”. Was this a big issue for Caroline? If so, show it in the presentation!
- Again. great research. I wasn’t sure which information you really wanted me to know though. On a similar note, wish I knew what your insights are from the secondary research + interview you all did with Caroline. What information would highlight your research process the best and give good a context as you explain your HCWs? What’s the most important part of the research that you want your audience to know + help the audience understand the value of your solution better?
- I’d also think of couple medium-term MOS and try to add numbers to these measures. “Among # of users reached, #% of users would user said how this solution will improve their lives” MOS examples!
- In “Task Analysis”, make it clear that you want users to experience the bottom set. Wish there was some visual guidance in that slide to help the audience focus on the bottom scenario!

Change
- Say how handSteady, Imagiroo (Kangaroo Cups), and Liftware started as solutions made for those with Parkinson’s and now others w/out Parkinson’s see the value. Similar to what y’all are trying to do: start with the problem and the user not the product. #HCD
- Say what your actual solution is other than goals. I’m not really clear how your solution different from handSteady. Also, take the prototype pics with something other than a water bottle/cup. It adds to the confusion with handSteady #lookout
- Black text on the dark background was hard to read

Questions
- What are your next steps for this project?

Make more clear our connection of the problem statement to our research
Better description of out prototype/idea
Simply more pictures to show the development of our idea and thought process

Hannah Salmon created a new goal:

Our goal for this week is for each of us to come to our Thursday Team meeting with some sort of research to learn more about diseases/disorders that hinder balance and existing solutions to see how people manage it currently. We'll put sources/what we find on our Google Doc or just write it down to share with everyone else when we meet.
Our design goals, HCW are done, so after sharing research we will come up with product ideas for prototyping next week. Afterwards, we will set goals for the next meeting.

Reflection after All Studio (10/25):
After presenting to Caroline our ideas for a solution to help her measure ingredients without spilling, she informed me that measuring is not a real problem for her, the main difficulty is spilling. So we need to take a step back and revise our How Can We to help her with the general problem of spilling, and go back to the drawing board for new ideas.
