What did we learn about our user(s) since last meeting?
Nothing directly from the user, as we haven't met with them since last meeting.
What else has our team accomplished that we are proud of since last meeting?
We have narrowed our brainstorming down to four different possible solutions: a storage unit for personalized watering cups, vegetable action figurines, plant trading cards, and a scavenger hunt for parents to complete with their children. We have also received feedback on all of these ideas and are starting to decide which one is best.
Did you meet last meeting's goal(s)? What goal(s) did your team not meet?
Yes, we met our goals of beginning to focus in on a potential solution.
What is our team's specific and measurable goal by next meeting?
We should all come to the meeting with ideas about how we can collect valuable feedback from the users regarding our potential solutions when we go to the CCC this Thursday.
What are the major obstacles stopping us from achieving our goal by next meeting, and how will we resolve them?
None.

Stand for Tuesday, May 5

What did we learn about our user(s) since last meeting?
We did not learn anything directly from the users, but we received feedback from members of other teams that allowed us to narrow down our HCW statements.
What else has our team accomplished that we are proud of since last meeting?
We have eliminated one of our three HCW statements and have brainstormed about possible products or services that could address the remaining two.
Did you meet last meeting's goal(s)? What goal(s) did your team not meet?
The objective was to narrow down our HCWs with help from feedback from our crit session. We did not succeed in choosing only one HCW out of the three, but we have decided that it is best to keep two HCWs and move on to the next stage of the process.
What is our team's specific and measurable goal by next meeting?
Our goal is to continue brainstorming and start considering the advantages and disadvantages of different ideas that we've come up with.
What are the major obstacles stopping us from achieving our goal by next meeting, and how will we resolve them?
None.

What did we learn about our user(s) since last meeting?
We learned that the Child Care Center of Evanston does not have many activities for more parent involvement. Additionally, parents do not really focus on their child's understanding and learning until they are around 4.5. Finally, the children do not really seem to connect with their garden.
What else has our team accomplished that we are proud of since last meeting?
We created a decision matrix with the HCWs from last week and used our new observations to create criteria and rate them.
Did you meet last meeting's goal(s)? What goal(s) did your team not meet?
We did not meet the goal of narrowing down our HCWs more, but we are hoped our Crit session will help us with that.
What is our team's specific and measurable goal by next meeting?
We are just going to be ready for brainstorming and ideating.
What are the major obstacles stopping us from achieving our goal by next meeting, and how will we resolve them?
None!

Stand for Tuesday, Apr 28

What did we learn about our user(s) since last meeting?
We have not seen the user since last meeting, so we have not learned anything new except for the fact that they are okay with us coming in every week on Thursday mornings.
What else has our team accomplished that we are proud of since last meeting?
We narrowed a long list of HCW statements down to only three. We did this by having everyone pick 3 favorites, conducting an analysis of the excitement and relevance of each HCW, and finally voting.
Did you meet last meeting's goal(s)? What goal(s) did your team not meet?
We met last meeting's goal of narrowing our focus down to 3 HCW statements. We had no other goals.
What is our team's specific and measurable goal by next meeting?
Between now and our next meeting three of our members will visit the Child Care Center of Evanston and conduct a second user observation, this time with more specific questions and goals that revolve around our HCW statements. Our goal by the next meeting is to process the information that we get from the user observation and use it to decide on a single problem that the CCC faces and that we will try to address.
What are the major obstacles stopping us from achieving our goal by next meeting, and how will we resolve them?
The major obstacle is the possibility that we don't get any useful information from our upcoming user observation because of the chaotic nature of the CCC. We have guarded against this possibility by making a detailed plan for the user observation that lists the things we want to find out and the ways we will find them out.
