1. We presented our ideas to the Cradle these week and got direct feedback from the staff, one of our major user groups. We got a budget as well as other key feedback.
2. We presented our ideas at the Cradle which went really well. I think they definitely appreciated the effort of our team and it should be going well afterwards.
3.We did meet last week's goals for sure and we got four designs out. One of which the Cradle really liked and we are going to go forward with.
4.For next week, we are going to really spec out the room and focus on that one design. We want to get cost and feedback to really get the idea well flushed out to present again.
5. The major obstacles could be the amount of work to get the idea ready to go. It might require effort outside of meetings to do it.

1. We got some official measurements of the room on Thursday. We are still brainstorming while keeping our user in mind.
2. We have a coach, which took us a while to do. I am very happy that we have a coach finally. We are really looking forward to meeting with them next week before meeting the Cradle.
3.Unfortunately, we did not meet our goal for our last meeting. We have are having trouble getting somewhere with the project and got feedback to do multiple designs. We are hoping our coach can give us more direction.
4.For next meeting, we want to each make individual designs which will be multiple designs just so that we don't waste time and people's styles don't conflict. We plan to synthesize ideas to make better designs or improve individual components afterwards.
5. We need expertise in how the interior design process works and how to work as a team on a design that has many many components. It is often hard to agree because there is more than one solution. I think our coach will help with that and we have realized that multiple designs are ok

This is for Tuesday's meeting

1. We discussed how to present to a stakeholder, the Cradle, and what we want to present to them and what questions we have.
2. We made a presentation timeline, so that we are prepared to present and how to guide a meeting with our community partner
3.We met last meetings goals, which was to prepare to present our ideas soon. I think getting an initial presentation out will be good because all we have to do is revise our slides or materials instead of starting from scratch.
4.For next meeting, we wanted to go over more components in our waiting room, specifically lamps, furniture pieces, and flooring at a high level. We are trying to complete flush out the design and questions by end of Sunday Open Studio.
5. The Cradle gave us a meeting time that most members could not meet at, and they gave the same time, but on a different date. I think I am the only one who can go. I will see what I can do to change the time, but most likely I will go by myself.

Here are the updated five questions to answer for the team updates after each meeting!

1. What did we learn about our user(s) since last meeting?
2. What else has our team accomplished that we are proud of since last meeting?
3. Did you meet last meeting's goal(s)? What goal(s) did your team not meet?
4. What is our team's specific and measurable goal by next meeting?
5. What are the major obstacles stopping us from achieving our goal by next meeting, and how will we resolve them?

1. This was our first meeting of the quarter, so we just went over our feedback from the Design Expo. We are planning to meet with the Cradle or a coach next week.
2. We presented at the Design Expo and we got great feedback. Everyone showed up and it turned out really well :).
3. Our team's goal for next meeting is to go over our design, and think about possible other solutions. Every member is coming with the priorities for elements of our design.
4. I just got an email back from somebody we hoped would be our coach, and unfortunately she cannot be our coach. I need to find a new coach relatively soon.

1. We flushed out some more of our brainstorming, and decided that we want to talk to a professional ID in terms of color palette.

2. We found a potential new mentor, who is trained in ID. Hopefully this will help us narrow down what we discussed today.

3. We want to finish this quarter strong and at a good stopping point. Hopefully, we will finish brainstorming by next meeting and have a somewhat clearer goal in mind before finals week and the expo.

4. Our lack of ID experience is hindering us and we might possibly lose a member next quarter.

1. We discussed our brainstorm as well as themes for the waiting room. We discussed which stakeholder to really focus our waiting room redesign towards.

2. Honestly we didn't get to far on the project this meeting. We are having trouble where to move next. For next meeting, we are going to brainstorm visually using journey maps.

3. Our team's next goal is to refine our solution - through narrowing or brainstorming another solution:
S: 1 to 2 solid ideas to move forward with
M: How flushed out they are - should have potential and drawings
A: Meet in Ford to make drawings and encourage focus
R: These are ideas for our final deliverable
T: This goal should be finished by Tuesday and refined by Thursday of next week

4. We are having trouble navigating interior design because we don't know to approach the interior design process. It is a little overwhelming. Also team is a getting a little too comfortable, so we are trying to move meeting spaces and keep people active.

1. We brainstormed some ideas for the waiting room. We still have to research some things about the specifics of what we need in the room, and would still like to talk to an ID.

2. We are proud that all six of us came to open studio, even if some of us were late. We are also proud of our brainstorming session, because we have some great ideas. and we had great food.

3. Research on specific items on our solutions.

4. We need to further synthesize our brainstorm ideas, especially in light of our new research. Also, finals and final projects are creeping up on us, so people will not attend meetings.

1. We had two more site visits since our last meeting, one with Julie who is the president and our contact at the Cradle and another with potential adoptive parents, who are Cradle clients. With Julie, we were able to fully outline the expectations of our project and get more demographic information on their clients. The second meeting was with three couples, who were adopting through the Cradle and they shared their stresses in the adoption process and with the waiting room in general.

2. We have a working final HCW, which is : HCW meet the specific needs of the Cradle stakeholders (staff, adoptive parents, potential adoptive parents, birth parents, children) in the waiting room? specific needs: (intuitive, inclusive, comfortable).

3. Next meeting, we hope to brainstorm and figure out potential solutions.
S-brainstorm solutions
M-5 good ideas by the end of the session
A- 5 good ideas and not sleep
R- Participate (we want everyone on the team to submit at least 20 ideas)
T- to try to complete the brainstorm session in one hour

4. There aren't really any major obstacles. It would be nice to get a mentor with an ID background, because we don't have any background in ID.
