For those touched by Down syndrome, transitioning into independent living can be daunting. Two-thirds of people with Down syndrome cannot even shower on their own. While showering is something that most of us take for granted, we’ve found that many families are worried about the safety of the water temperature as well as developing a hygiene routine. SudBud is a system of shower products for all ages of people with Down syndrome to increase safety and independence in daily life skills. We have created two products to address these difficulties. Our customized, detachable stopper can set your shower knob to an ideal range of water temperatures to prevent scalding. In addition, our fun, convenient dispenser and visual instructions for shampoo and body wash, showering becomes less of a chore without the fuss of reaching for, and opening small bottles. The Sudbud system alleviates stress for families and promotes autonomy for anyone touched by Down syndrome. This is a step towards transitioning into an independent life. Our goal is to give you and your loved ones peace of mind by making daily tasks more attainable for everyone.

Hi everyone! Sorry I joined this late :( Summer's been pretty packed. Plus The Loft Team made the invite out to my school email address, which is why I wasn't able to join whenever I logged in using my original one. Thanks Jarrett for the email!
