Matt & Anna,

As per Justin's email: please look a "MasterDesignDocument_12.10.14.pdf."

Our team works between macs and pcs so unfortunately word docs can be formatted a bit strange depending on what software opens it. Please see the pdf.

Hey guys -- I started grading your final document but: (a) it doesn't include the user testing reports (b) the full lesson plans don't need to be in the master document, just the design rationale (which the designers need) and a link to online portion (which the learner needs), and (c) your lesson plans aren't online yet. Please address the above ASAP!

Also I had to reformat some of the design document to make it easier to read. I've uploaded a new version your files section -- please work off of: Master_Design_Doc_5.1_DFA_Studio_mwe.docx

Hey Matt-- as the team works on editing our prototypes, we also revised our goals, impact map, and assessments. They are located on our workbench labeled "Goals, Assessment and Impact Map for Matt to review (11/30)"

Hi team -- I left feedback on the the service blueprint and lessons on the initiative page. I haven't left feedback on the tests yet, but in general those all looked fine. You've made a lot of progress and are mostly down to just editing the lessons now. I had a few comments and confusions that might require clarification so lets talk in class tomorrow. The biggest roadblocks right now I think are: (a) creating a sensible system for sharing resources (folder system will not be enough); (b) separating out the content for chapter leads and regional coordinators; (c) providing more guidance on the rethinking communities activity; and (d) operating out the content for designers and learners.

Hey Matt--

In the files section all of our tests and post mortems have been linked into the design document. We are missing our service blueprint- but all prototypes are included.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find our team's User Test 3- though we did write up a post mortem for it.

Can anyone help resolve this issue?

Hey Matt,
In the file section is the most updated of our design document ready for review. Again, we are waiting on a couple of minor things from Rachel but other than that we are good to go. We also have version 2 of prototype 1 uploaded on the workbench for review (Under lesson 1). Hope this is all okay. Thanks

Stand: Justin is limited by not having a laptop. He is going to reach out to Rachel to get example for his prototype3. Make the changes based on her feedback. finish service blueprint. Start looking at goals to see what they should ideally look like and the assessments behind it.

Brooke needs to email Rachel again to ask her about the day in the life of a chapter leader. Help Stephany revamp goals.

Nikita: Working on prototype 4 PRIORITY to have completed

Wait to finalise goals before finishing our assessment.

TIMELINE FOR THIS WEEK:
1. Nikita finish prototype 4 asap
2. goals
3. assessments (not in UBD template)

Stand: Justin: We have done: A test with our user Rachael and found out what focus of Prototype 4 should be (in terms of recruitment)

need to finish service blueprint, revamp prototype 3 based on feedback

Nikita: met with brenna for feedback P3, wrote post-mortem for 1. working on P4

Steph: P2 completely revamped, need to think about designing and creating loft space of tsudents and taking screen shots to incorporate into prototype 2. P2 is ready for team review

Brooke: Met with Roosevelt Chapter Institute for Prototype 3 feedback. Completed post mortem for P3

Stand: Brooke:
What we have done.. Made amendments to Prototype 1 and 2. (Essentially, completed all that is due and uploaded to loft) To do: Adding design argument, good twitter use example and method of evaluating progress to the design document and saving on loft. Problem: group continuity, we all need to be on the same page with out goals and process of achieving them. What I am going to do: tonight we are getting a user test on Prototype 3 and will write post mortem.

Justin: Will have to make design argument for P3 and P2 and cover page for P2. Finalist P3 based on feedback from later today, and get case study examples from P3 (from Rachel). Meeting with Brenna tomorrow

Nikita: In charge of meeting with Brenna and updating Brenna on team status and deliverables. Ask Rachel what obstacles they have with recruiting? Nikita is now in charge of Prototype 4

Steph: updated our goals as well as created impact map with additional metrics. Have created project work stream organizers as well as concept maps to organize our team.

Hey all, we've setup a guide on the Loft where you can distribute and test your content: https://loft.io/process/roosevelt-leadership-guide/ Also, you should definitely check out DFA's studio guide -- it's still a work in progress, but they have a lot of material that will be useful in designing the Roosevelt Leadership guide: https://loft.io/process/dfa-studio-guide/

Stand 08/10

Justin: We finished lesson 1 prototype on recruiting social media yesterday aftermoon. Will be talking to our user Rachel on Thursday. Obstacles: Having everyone in one location due to varying time commitments/schedule.

Nikita & Stephany: Ditto

Brooke: Ditto. Will be leaving for a tennis tournament Thursday and will be returning Sunday night. Will need to remain in close contact with team regarding meetings and progress with client

Note: We recognize Roosevelt have a pre-existing structural guide but as a team, we need to determine whether we need to condense, expand or something else (big question) do this by discussing guide with user and determining what she wants.

Hey Guys -- hope all is going well. When you are in the same place today perhaps you could come up with a time we could meet outside of class (if you feel you could use some time with me and Brant -- Thursdays are bad, otherwise if you propose 3-4 times I should be able to meet).

Also -- can I add another question to the stand that you do today: 'What are the big decisions we are making right now?' Hopefully this should help us understand where your heads are at with this project so give you better advice.
