Hey guys! So I talked to Matt and he said that the the form to fill out for the reflections for our expert reviews and other tests, is under guide and test. So, we need to fill out those forms for our lessons depending on which test we did. So we should set a deadline for ourselves to get these done and posted to the workbench for each of our lessons so that they can get graded.

Hey Team,

So I talked to Matt and Anna today, and they agreed that we could ask Gulu and Natalia to do both the user test (from a facilitator perspective) and an expert review (as a design expert perspective). We can put up our docs on loft in the workbench and add in our own questions so we have all their comments in one place. So let's try to have that in place before our meeting on Friday. We can talk more about this on Wednesday.

Lesson 5 Feedback from Anna:

Standardizing lessons (notes to the teachers etc.)
Could this be applicable to other schools?: Reproducibility
Alignment between assessment and goals: Everything in lesson should align to the goals you have written up

Hi guys, I have added the gradebook to your files. When I spoke to Ed we talked about sharing my gradebook with you so that you all understand what we look for in your work. Note that all the comments written in the gradebook are on the loft under the relevant initiatives on the workbench.

Team,

I also put up a Lesson Template that we can use to format our lessons. It's under "Files".

Hi team, I can't find your Test of Prototype 1. Can you either add it to your files or workbench please?

Best,

Critique:
- incorporate interviews (maybe interviewing each other to build skills)
- go into a neighborhood in Chicago, interview people, and find out what is going on in that neighborhood
- incorporate bias into the perspective lesson
- What is the angle we are taking? Through the eyes of the students then we should take the angle of the students (with using news from other sources as evidence)
-focus on the concept of an audience. Who is their audience?
-an audience of community leaders?
- other mentors? young professionals in Chicago? Journalists? Medill students?
-Learn by doing. Go through lesson plan and then do activities
- think about time limits on the activities- how did we come with these etc.? Add logic behind these time limits so it can become more teachable and able to be recreated
- less what are the issues? What could we ask Adrian peterson?
