Stand (4/15/2015):
1. We learned that the kids really like simulation tasks (from their reactions to the ones they've already experienced). However, the client wants a new approach to these tasks.
2. We feel like we've been making progress on our HTA and concept map and these are developing nicely. We've been proactive in scheduling interviews. We've done a really good job of coming up with new ideas and have avoiding getting too stuck on one idea.
3. We finished our CTA. We’ve continued to read up on Hannah and find new resources. We've scheduled some expert interview meetings.
4. Complete expert interview with Joan, observe BJBE Sunday school, complete expert interview with the rabbi, add questions to doc for expert interviews
Time constraints and scheduling conflicts make completing these tasks in the next few days difficult, but we can work around these by using email to communicate with some of our experts

What are we doing well?

We're doing a great job of coming up with new ideas, encouraging each other's enthusiasm, and creating individual activities.

Where do we need to do better?

While we've come up with a lot of activity ideas, we're still struggling with developing one overarching goal for the class. We could also coordinate better on the specific deliverables--we get excited about our ideas and overlook the specific assignment and the templates provided.

Stand (4/6/2015):
1. We still need to clarify our user--is it the student or the teacher? This is a goal for next week.
2. Since our last meeting, we've each read up on the content material of the course and learned Hannah's backstory. In addition, we've gained more understanding of the design process (through readings and lectures) and had the opportunity to practice expert interviews and concept maps.
3. Last week, we made the goal to visit BJBE. This didn't happen, but it's happening tomorrow! We also had the goal of doing some background reading on Hannah, which we have done.
4. Before next week, we plan to:
a. visit the site
b. meet as a team to define our users and our learner task
c. conduct a client interview to understand curricular material and existing features of the
d. set tentative learning goals
e. complete the CTA prep
f. create a master story list on workbench

5. At the moment, we lack clarity in our definition of learners, which has made defining the learner task difficult. This is likely a result of a scope that is too broad and a lack of time spent discussing details (which have thus-far been mostly discussed during the brief in-class activities). We should meet this week outside of class to spend time really discussing our project and re-address the scope of our project to focus on one particular user (either teachers or students).

Hello BJBE Team - we're going to be doing stands today. Stand questions are:

1. What did we learn about our user(s) since last meeting?
2. What else has our team accomplished that we are proud of since last meeting?
3. Did you meet last meeting's goal(s)? What goal(s) did your team not meet?
4. What is our team's specific and measurable goal by next meeting
5. What are the major obstacles stopping us from achieving our goal by next meeting, and how will we resolve them?
